It's that time of year again

When some guys you've never heard of hack every piece of software you have heard of.  Pwn2Own 2010 is a hacking contest where you get paid to hack things like, Windows Explorer, and Safari as fast as possible.

Here's an article on it: http://www.downloadsquad.com/2010/03/25/pwn2own-2010-google-chrome-is-the-last-man-standing/

If you don't know what the Nexus One is,

then you might as well just skip this.  Otherwise, say hello to the phone bully of the future:

Hotspot for 8 phones?  Yes.  Two cameras?  Yes.  Built in kickstand for watching movies?  Yes.  4.3 inch screen?  Yes.  Each one runs off of a cold fusion battery?  No.  That's ridiculous.

Mile High Alternative

Do you not like cramped spaces?  But do like strange encounters?  Would you like to live in an airport?  Me too.  These are all perfectly normal wants.  Say hello to the Sleep Box Mini-Hotel.

Don't worry, there's a hostel version too.  Check it out: The Cool Hunter

Stackable USB?

How didn't everyone alive already think of this?

Of course I have some significant worries about how this functions power/data-wise.  One commenter said this:

Assuming that there is a set resistance from each one, there has to be a voltage drop across each. Therefore, eventually there will be no voltage, and thus no current through which to charge your gadgets. If all of your gadgets hooked up in this fashion were externally powered, I could see how this might work, however it would put a data bottleneck strain on the first chord.

It sounds pretty convincing, so I guess it must be accurate.

Real or Fake?

Bears and hockey.  I'm serious.  Bad handling skills but they make up for it in fighting ability.
